Modern Slavery Statement
Modern Slavery Statement
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Perfume Oasis Wholesale has taken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chain.
Our Business
Perfume Oasis Wholesale is a UK-based wholesale distributor of fine fragrance, prestige skincare, and premium haircare products. We supply retail and wholesale customers throughout the UK and worldwide. Our operations include purchasing, warehousing, and distribution of branded beauty products.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain involves sourcing products from manufacturers, authorised distributors, and reputable suppliers, predominantly based in the UK and Europe. We are committed to ensuring transparency in our supply chain and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not occurring at any level.
Our Policies
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:
- Supplier Due Diligence Policy: We assess new suppliers before engaging with them and conduct periodic reviews of existing suppliers.
- Ethical Trading Policy: We expect all suppliers to comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding labour rights, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage employees to report any concerns about the conduct of our business, including concerns about modern slavery, without fear of retaliation.
Due Diligence
We conduct due diligence on our supply chain and seek assurances from our key suppliers that they operate ethically and in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We do not knowingly engage with any business found to be involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.
Risk Assessment
We assess the risk of modern slavery within our business and supply chain on an ongoing basis. We consider our direct operations to carry a low risk, given our UK-centric supply chain. However, we remain vigilant and committed to continuous improvement in this area.
Training
We provide guidance to our staff on recognising the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking, and on the steps they should take if they have concerns.
Our Commitment
Perfume Oasis Wholesale has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chain.
